The girls had a joint birthday party this year! We made ice cream sundaes! The kids had a blast. We played pin the cherry on the sundae and an ice cream relay game. The girls were more than excited to open presents! They got many new clothes and of course toys! Mallory is 2 and Maya is 4 (actually she will be on Sept. 27th!). Mallory is in her big girl bed now and is really starting to talk a lot more. Maya is so excited to start pre-school in a few weeks! She will also be playing soccer in the fall. They are growing up before our eyes. Where does the time go?

Mallory 2 Years

Jellystone Campground!

We packed up the car and took the kids to visit Yogi at Jellystone campground in Silver Lake, Michigan. We went with our good friends Mike and Michelle Phillips and their two daughters Ali & Katie. Maya & Mallory could not have more fun. The girls woke up each day for a walk with Yogi himself! There were activities all day for the kids to attend. Maya's favorite thing to do was the wagon ride with Yogi and Cindy Bear because you got to sing on the ride! Mallory's favorite thing to do was definately swim in the kiddy pool with her daddy! Maya & Mallory probably put 10 miles on their bikes the two days we were there. They thought they were pretty cool. Of course Mallory & Katie were always close behind their big sisters. We finished each day with smores and fun around the campfire. We also attempted the Mac Dune ride. Mallory hated it so much we had the ranger pick us up. She hated the wind. Maya on the other hand had both hands up in the air like she was on a roller coaster! She and daddy finished the ride while mommy and Mallory rode back in a truck to play in the sandbox to wait for daddy and Maya. She loves the sandbox. All in all we had so much fun. It's just so fun to see the kids actually believe that Yogi is real and that he lives in a cave!
